Concrete, screed and tiles need different preparation. Confirm what the kit is designed to bond to.
A microcement floor kit combines the materials needed for a compatible thin-layer flooring system, but the kit alone does not guarantee a successful floor. Substrate preparation, mixing, layer control, sanding, sealing and cure are equally important.
Square metres tell you quantity. They do not tell you whether the floor is ready.

A coating system should not be used to hide unresolved damp or excess substrate moisture.
Cracks, joints and flexible substrates need an appropriate strategy before the decorative layers.
Calculate each component from the manufacturer's coverage rate, allowing for the actual floor condition and required layers.
The protective system should suit traffic, moisture and cleaning. It is not an optional final decoration.
Large seamless floors show application variation clearly. Experience with trowel-applied finishes can materially affect the result.

A small dry decorative project is different from a large open-plan floor, a commercial space or a wet area. If a failed installation would be expensive to remove or the substrate needs technical remediation, professional assessment is usually the safer route.
